In preparing for the 2020 census, the City of Dinuba analyzed the data of population and steets. The City of Dinuba has a total area of 6.5 square miles (17 km2), all of which is level. Dinuba is at an elevation of 345 feet above mean sea level. There are very few steep slopes in Dinuba, and the city's gradient is about 10 feet per mile. It is possible to find small hills up to 526 feet high, however, this is not the case for most of the City.

According to the latest census, the population of Dinuba was 1,353 as of 2010. This represents an increase of over 2% from 2000. The City is a rapidly growing community, with population and steets steadily increasing. The City's economic development strategy is centered around redevelopment and business incentives. The City has an industrial park totaling 690 acres, located on the southwest part of the city. It is bounded by El Monte Way and generally extends westward. There are also eight appointed advisory commissions that assist the City Council in policy decisions.

The percentage of households with a bachelor's degree in Dinuba City Center is low compared to most U.S. neighborhoods. In addition, the area has more residents of Mexican ancestry than any other neighborhood. Ninety-one percent of residents have Mexican ancestry, and 78.3% of residents speak Spanish at home. Lastly, Dinuba City Center has a higher percentage of workers with a graduate degree.
