Located in the state of Colorado, Red Cliff is a Statutory Town with a population of 289 as of the 2000 census. The town is a former mining camp located in the upper Eagle River canyon. Located just off of U.S. Highway 24 north of Tennessee Pass, the town is accessible by a side road to Shrine Pass, located in the Sawatch Range. The town was established in 1879 during the Colorado Silver Boom.
