Long Key City is a small Florida Keys town, which is home to around 8,000 people. The population is primarily white. The city is located on the Gulf of Mexico. In the late 1950s, many salt ponds on the island were filled in. Today, the city is home to several shopping malls, residential areas, schools, and ball parks. It is also home to the Key West International Airport.
