Northlake City is a small town located in Cook County, Illinois with a population of 12,323. Its name comes from the intersection of two streets, Lake Street and N Avenue, on the city's western border. The Dominick's supermarket chain closed a distribution center here in December 2013, but many residents are still happy there. Empire Today is also headquartered here. The city has many historic buildings and is home to several companies.
