The population and steets of Bazine City are listed below. The city was founded in 1874 and is located in the Kansas county of Ness. The population is estimated to be 294 people in 2020. During WWII, a schoolteacher in Bazine named Kenneth R. Timken paved the way for this small town to become a post office. Today, the town still holds that post office and is home to a number of local businesses.

Bazine was one of the first communities to build a school. In 1907, the town was home to a junior high school and a high school. It closed after school unification. Its mascot was the Indians. During its operation, the school had a total of 41 students and six graduates. In 2006, the school was listed for sale on eBay for $55,000.
