Fayville City is located in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, sandwiched between the Piedmont and coastal plain. Fayville is situated on the Cape Fear River, a 202-mile-long river that originates in Haywood and empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Cross Creek rises on the west side of Fayetteville and flows through the city. A total of 33,661 households are accounted for by this population.

The Fayville City map was created to show how the population of each ward changed between 2011 and 2016. This new map is based on the population of each ward, maintaining the core wards. However, Ward 1 has lost over 1,820 residents, while Ward 4 gained more than 3,343 residents. In total, the area of the city has increased by 1.46%. However, a small part of Ward 2 is still vacant.

The development of the town has caused a mixed response from residents. During the Vietnam War, Fayetteville was referred to as Fayttenam, and the main street was regarded as seedy and sleazy. Fortunately, the city has seen a significant resurgence, and many new shopping centers have popped up in recent years. It has become an attractive location for families, with numerous shopping plazas bringing a vibrant downtown.
