The town of Sagamore is located in Barnstable County. The unofficial name for this town is West Sandwich. It is a census-designated place (CDP), which is statistically equivalent to a self-governing municipality. However, it does not have any governmental functions. This area has a high percentage of homes that are owned, which may affect the demographics of your advertising.

Before the town was incorporated, residents lived in large single houses and attended church services in large churches. By the early 20th century, there were at least five hundred houses standing at that site. The population of Sagamore City reached a high of about 4,000 by the end of the 20th century. In addition, the city plans to construct a gateway elevated pedestrian bridge over Hanover Street at Cromwell St. It will also be surrounded by an archaeological pier.
