Burt Lake, Michigan Statistic: Population, Charts, Map, Steets and More

A brief history of the population and steeps in Burt Lake City is presented here. In 1850, a road near the river became Main Street. This road would eventually lead to the Benton House, the Fountain House, the M. W. Horne residence, Bullen & Nelson's store, and the water mill. A bridge across the river was built in 1850, and a swing bridge was constructed in 1862.
