Using this data, the team compared areas within and outside of Long Lane City to identify mobility issues for women and other underrepresented groups. The study focused on three neighborhoods: Long Lane City, Sun Valley, and Watts. Each neighborhood represented a variety of Los Angeles neighborhoods, and its selection of these areas was based on their difference in gender mobility and transportation access.
