The population of Huson City is just over three hundred and fifty people. The city is home to a number of immigrants and is the sixth-most immigrant-populated New Hampshire incorporated city or town. Its total population is composed of people of various races and ethnicities. Over fifty percent of the population speaks a language other than English at home. About fourteen percent of the population is elderly. The city's population is composed of approximately three-fourths white, twenty-seven percent Latinx, and twenty-one percent black. The remaining population is comprised of one percent American Indian/Alaska/Native Hawaiian and one percent Asian.

The city's Comprehensive Plan identifies portions of the project site as residential and neighborhood commercial. However, the applicant has filed an application to designate the property as downtown commercial. This application is currently on file with the Community Development Department. The City of Huson is considering approving this project as soon as it can get the necessary approvals. There are some drawbacks to the proposed project. The city has a long history of dealing with development issues, but the new city councilman is doing the right thing by presenting the case.

In addition to its location in Huson City, Hudson School District serves residents of the village of North Hudson, the Village of Huston, and portions of St. Joseph and Troy. As the city grew, its civic interests began to align with those of neighboring communities. In 1870, the city voted to give up its political independence to other communities. Hudson, New York, is surrounded by the Hudson River and the Town of Greenport.
