The 2010 census found that the population of Lyndeborough was 181,045. This is an increase of 1.6 percent over the previous year. This is an improvement, but the city still has a long way to go. The city has more people than it did in 2000, with 77.9% of the population being White, 11.6% being African American, and 0.4% being American Indian and Alaska Native. The median age was 33.4 years, and the number of non-Hispanic Whites was 59.6%.
