The Indian Lake City population is relatively well-diversified. Approximately one-fourth of the city's people are under the age of eighteen, while the rest are between the ages of 25 and 64. Twenty-five percent of the city's residents are married, while another twenty-nine percent are single. The median age in the city is 36 years. There are eighty-nine males for every hundred females.

The city is home to numerous parks, including Sugar House Park, which is the second largest park in the city.
