A recent survey found that majority of Bend residents are concerned about the impact of growth on the city. They said that this growth has not led to more jobs and economic opportunity, but rather more problems related to traffic and affordability. Residents are particularly concerned about their ability to find living-wage jobs and affordable housing. More than two-thirds (66%) of the respondents cited affordability as a concern, with these concerns affecting more middle-income families and people of color.
