It will provide additional housing and commercial development for the community and will match the Community Plan's Regional Commercial land use designation. The project includes two residential buildings that continue a prominent pattern of multi-family development along Cedros Avenue. The commercial spaces would be focused along the established Roscoe Boulevard commercial corridor, adjacent to the Panorama Mall, and the Van Nuys Boulevard transit corridor.
The project entails the construction of new concrete sidewalks and integral curbs. It also requires the installation of two-foot-wide center gutters in both the commercial and residential portions of the site. The project will also include landscaping and will eliminate the need for a central parking structure. Parking will be provided in screened podium parking levels and internal surface parking lots.
