Essex Jct, Vermont Statistic: Population, Charts, Map, Steets and More

There have been a number of discussions over the years regarding the future of the Village of Essex Junction, a small community in eastern Connecticut. Founded on November 15, 1892, the village is home to several small businesses and villagers, and was eventually incorporated within the town of Essex. The village continued to operate separately until the mid-20th century, when it was first joined with the town. In this time, the towns' governments began offering duplicate services to both villages. While the villagers initially paid for those services, town government started offering similar services to both. During this time, several mergers have been considered, and they have been rejected almost every time.

One of the most attractive aspects of this town is its excellent schools. Essex Junction has three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. The City also has a technical education center. Children are able to walk to school as most City streets feature sidewalks. Parents are encouraged to get involved in the close-knit school community. For entertainment, the Village has numerous venues, including the Champlain Valley Expo, a historic dirt racetrack. It also hosts several indoor events, including the annual Champlain Valley Fair, one of the oldest agricultural fairs in the New England region.

The Village of Essex Junction is incorporated in 1892. The population is currently 9271. It is a growing, vibrant community with a wide range of businesses and activities. It is also home to the Essex Free Library, where residents can use their Brownell Library cards. You can also view the list of streets in the village of Essex Junction and the Town of Essex.
