Starksboro is located in the northeast corner of Addison County along the edge of the Green Mountains. Vermont Route 116 runs through the center of town, leading north to Hinesburg and south to South Burlington. Vermont Route 17 crosses the southern portion of the town, heading east through the Green Mountains to the Mad River Glen ski area. From here, travelers can travel west to Bristol and the Champlain Valley.
