The population of Eau Galle is composed primarily of small and medium sized homes, and the city has relatively few people. The average number of people per square mile is about 23, which is lower than the national average of 94.1%. In addition, residents of Eau Galle have higher proportions of German and Austrian ancestry, which may explain the lack of diversity in the neighborhood.

Washington, which is a large bluff that overlooks the Chippewa River.
