One of the main concerns of Floresta was the possibility of the Clarks Point school closing. Enrollment levels in the community must be at least 10 to receive full state funding. Floresta feared that this would result in the village becoming a ghost town. In other villages, she saw this scenario play out. She is now trying to change that. Hopefully, the new school will bring some much-needed education to the residents.
