Togiak is a city located in the state of Alaska. It is a gateway to the Walrus Island State Game Sanctuary and is home to the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. The population is 86% Yup'ik Eskimo and the economy is based on commercial fishing. It is also home to a population of more than one hundred thousand caribou in two herds.
