Pioneertown, California Statistic: Population, Charts, Map, Steets and More

What is the Population & Steets in Pioneerton City? Pioneertown has a population of just over 400, but the town has been struggling for years without a water system. Smith and her husband John purchased their Ranch in 1969 when there was no water and were able to hook up to the water system of Benton Lefton. Lefton later bought the town with plans to turn it into a master-planned community. But in 1980, Pioneertown residents voted to turn the responsibility over to the county.

The diversity of Pioneertown is shown on a map. Areas in green have more diversity than areas in red. This diversity means that people of different races are living close together. Conversely, all-white neighborhoods in Pioneertown would not be considered diverse. However, that doesn't mean that there are no people of color in Pioneertown. While this may seem like a problem, the city has been actively fighting to keep the community as it is.

The population of the neighborhood is a mixed bag, and the percentage of children living in poverty is higher than the national average. The city's popularity as a filming location is not universal, and Pioneertown struggled to attract film crews. At the same time, the Rat Pack was reaching its prime, with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Bing Crosby. Despite the city's small size, Pioneertown had plenty of envy from the Rat Pack.
