Hibernia, New Jersey Statistic: Population, Charts, Map, Steets and More

The population of Hibernia City was a little over three million at one time. That number exploded in the 1800s due to the influx of immigrants from other countries. By 1880, the city's population consisted largely of foreigners. After the influx of immigrants, the city began to see a small Haitian community. However, rising housing costs and gentrification forced new immigrants to look elsewhere.
