Olmsted Twp City is located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population of Olmsted Twp is 13,552. The city is five hours behind Coordinated Universal Time. There are three branches of banks in Olmsted Twp, including First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lakewood. The city also has one office of PNC Bank, National Association.

The median age for the population was 41.6 years. The majority of residents were either married or in a relationship. The percentage of individuals who did not have a spouse or partner was 11.0%. Thirty-four percent of households were non-families. Twenty-seven percent of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.4% of households were headed by a senior citizen. The average household size was 2.42, and the average family size was 3.01.

The township is located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The population is approximately 88,800. The township has a high pedestrian and bicycle crash rate. Of those crashes, two were fatal. One involved a child on Cook Road, and the other was on Fitch Road.

The town of Olmsted Falls was incorporated in 1843. The name came from the larger falls that were used for mills. The town adopted a mayor-council form of government in 1849. After the town was incorporated, the Cleveland, Columbus & Cincinnati Railroad opened through the town. Although railroad expansion slowed down at the turn of the century, it resumed after the second world war. Suburban migration and highway development also contributed to the post-war growth of the town.
