The 2000 census showed a very varied population in Milmont Park City, with a quarter of the population under the age of 20, and one-third under the age of twenty-four. The rest of the population was in the ages 25 to 64 and fifty-seven percent over age sixty-four. The median age was 37 years old and the population was composed of eleven2.3 males for every 100 females.

Blacks make up a small percentage of the population. Other races include Asians, Hispanics, and people with two or more sex. Approximately 16% of the community is classified as "Other."

Another notable figure who settled in Milmont Park City was Thomas Kearns, a U.S. Senator and owner of the Silver King Coalition Mining Co. His lands were deemed a safe haven for miners, but the mine accident that claimed thirty-four lives changed the area. The city thrived with the silver mining boom, but the town almost became a ghost town in the 1950s.
