Trolberg is a walled city with a Scandinavian look. It's the primary setting of the story and appears in all of the Hilda franchise's films. This city began as a small village, but has since grown to be the center of the story. The population varies, but there are several historical markers that provide historical background. There's also a small island where the Lindworm lives.
The Pit sector is the worst part of Hilda City, and is infamous as the unofficial dumping ground for subpar Judges. In 2118, Chief Judge Hadrian Volt put the first female judge, Dredd, in charge of the Pit sector. Dredd's efforts weeded out the corruption, and left behind a force of harder and more effective judges. This gave the citizens some measure of power back. After the first World War, a democratic revival movement began in the city, led by Hester Hyman, which was eventually put down by Judges.
