Weesatche is a town in Goliad County, Texas. It is located on State Highway 119 north of Goliad. The town was originally called Middletown and was located midway between Goliad and Clinton. The post office was established on November 22, 1855. Middletown was in Comal County before being renamed Weesatche in 1855. The population of Weesatche was a little over two hundred and fifty.

In the 1880s, Weesatche had a population of about 100 residents and was full of merchants and tradespeople. It also had a saloon. The Reverend Theodore Ander was the pastor of the Lutheran Church in 1891. There was a dance hall in town called the Weesatche Dance Hall, which still holds occasional dances. Although the town has many empty buildings, it is still a small, thriving town. Its population has rebounded from a low of about 140 people in the 1940s.

Weesatche-Ander CCD is a census-designated place in central Idaho. Its population is about 10.5% smaller than the average for the greater Austin metro area. This makes it a great place for employment research. It also contains a relatively low percentage of people who are younger than twenty-five. Similarly, older adults make up 11.3% of the population.
