The city of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin is home to a Police Department. The police department was originally only a one-man operation. But, it quickly grew into a five-officer force in 1967, with two more officers hired in the years that followed. In 1990, the city had a population of about 6,000, and the police department was composed of a Police Chief, two Sergeants, six patrol officers, and three part-time clerical workers.

During the Great Depression, there were few cars in the city, and people didn't have cars. As a result, there were no traffic control or parking problems until many years later. Police didn't even see cars in the city during those years, and many residents were on foot. The city was safe, and residents enjoyed a high quality of life. Now, Sheboygan Falls has many recreational opportunities for its residents. There are five parks, a river walk, and a recreational trail. Additionally, there are several nationally recognized golf courses within the city, including the Bull at Pinehurst Farms, the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Wisconsin. The Whistling Straits Golf Course has been a venue for several major tournaments, including the 2004 PGA Championship. It is also scheduled to host the 2020 Ryder Cup,

There are several roads through the city, including State Highway 141, which was once a major inner-city route. The City also has several secondary county highways, including County LS to the north, County PP, and EE to the west, and County KK to the south. The city also has a few bicycle lanes and two hiking trails. Lastly, there is a railroad station that runs along State Highway 23.
